BIRTH CONTROL

     Hey I have a new and crazy concept, how about don't have kids that you can't afford!! How about you stop expecting other people to help raise and pay for your kids! Holy shit, dare I take it to the next level and suggest that having 3 kids with 3 different fathers/mothers is disgusting and only proves that you are not smart enough to use birth control? OH and here is a good one; did you know that birth control is planning that takes place before you have sex, not an oh shit now what do I do now after the fact? I know people that use corrective measures after pregnancy has occurred as birth control, more than once. REALLY!? Is it mean for me to mention that not everyone should be a parent? NEWSFLASH...not everyone has what it takes to be a parent so stop having kids. I know these people very well and I must say that there is always an excuse. Nothing is ever their fault, life just happens to them, they have bad luck I mean the list goes on and on.
     I have two kids and frankly I can barely afford to take care of them in the manner that I would like to. Not to mention the big C word...COLLEGE! Just thinking about how much it's going to cost me to make sure they get a good education makes my skin crawl. I am going to need two more jobs to pay for all that shit! Now there are some people that can not only afford a team of kids but they are kick ass parents, so this doesn't apply to them. However, everyone else Listen Up!! The world is becoming a fucking mess with parents abusing, neglecting and even killing their own kids. What the hell are we turning into? Parents are letting the babysitters, the school system or their own family members do their job for them and then they have the nerve to complain that they aren't doing a good enough job. Step up to the plate and make a difference in your child's life. Be a role model for them, be a support system for them, be their parent damn it! 
     It is a viscous cycle that families all over the country are living over and over again. There is an escape, but you have to work hard for it. Start making well informed decisions, instead of allowing life to live you,YOU LIVE LIFE! Teach our daughters how to be women, wives, mothers, and friends. Teach our sons to be the men and fathers that they can and should be. Teach our children to be well mannered, respectful and kind to one another. Instill in them the desire and drive to get a good education and to be an advocate for those that are less fortunate. Be honest with them when they have questions and use your words wisely because they are listening. Be an example to  them, allow them to witness the sacrifices and the planning that goes into fulfilling a dream. Show the kids that money is hard to come by so spending it wisely is a must. Prove to them through your actions that needing and wanting are two totally different situations. Lead them by example and love them more than you love yourself. These are the changes that must be made if the cycle is to ever stop.
     What do we have to look forward to if we don't make the change? Well I'll tell you what will happen, our whole country is going to turn to total shit! SHIT I say.  Our kids are not going to give a damn about us. They are not going to care about that we are stuck in some nursing home growing bed sores on our asses. There won't be any more family units or a sense of obligation to care for those who have cared for you because we didn't care for them as we should have. They are not going to care about family values, morals, or decency. Our country is going to become more over- populated than it already is with children that no one cares about. Meanwhile the Angelina Jolie's and Sandra Bullock's of the world will continue to adopt kids from other countries because they are easier to adopt than the already needy kids in this country.  Other countries will continue to profit from our greed while we stupidly and blindly destroy our own economy and credibility with the rest of the world.  Think about one of those futuristic movies that you have seen where the rich live above ground and the poor are driven underground and killed off, that's what I see in some unrealistic way. We are creating a society where even our most helpless and defenseless are being thrown up on the chopping block because no one has the balls to change it.
     Seriously, it's a simple concept. Some people have proven themselves to be worthy of parenthood, and some have not. How many chances should a person have to try and get it right? I know what I am proposing, and all that it implies. I know that many will find that idea appalling, but it should be considered. I know that when the bill of rights was written by our country's founders they had no idea that we would evolve to be the type of country that would need protections in place for those not yet born. They could not have known that this great country would basically become a place where the depraved are infiltrating every aspect of government and church.  Had they foreseen this, undoubtedly they too would have offered some kind of protection for those to yet to come.  So I believe that: If you have been a less than desirable parent you shouldn't be allowed to try again. If you have abused, neglected or God forbid murdered a child, you should not be allowed to have another. If you have proven yourself to be a danger to yourself or anyone else, you should not be allowed to have children.  If you can not show some basic ability to care for a child it should be a law that you can not have one! Damn I know people are gonna be pissed off by this, but not nearly as pissed off as I am that the undesirables of this country keep breeding!
